Return & Cancellation Policy

Return/Refund Policy

We have a “no questions asked return and refund policy” which entitles all users who have purchased a product with brownbag site/application to return the product at the time of delivery if they are not satisfied with the quality of the product. For pick –up mode the user can return the product at the concerned store. In case you are not available at delivery to check the quality of the product(s), you may raise a complaint with our customer care service. Subject to acceptance from the third-party seller of the product, the Tangyleaf Online Services may take the returned product back and grant credit in lieu of the value of the returned product. Such credit shall be available for use against a subsequent invoice for transactions on the website/app. There will however be no refund/return for those goods/product(s) that are perishable in nature viz, egg, milk, bread, confectionary products etc. For other product(s) the same has to be returned within 72 hours to claim a refund.

Any stipulation provided by the seller regarding the time period for return will overwrite the above clause. However, the LLP reserves the right of returns or refunds of the Products after the order has been accepted for delivery.

For any request for returns not conforming to the aforesaid, the LLP may, upon request by you, but at its sole discretion, contact the relevant third party seller to accept the return of such product against the original invoice for the product(s), provided however that the LLP shall not be responsible for the acceptance or rejection of such request by the third-party seller.

Cancellation Policy

As a user, you may cancel an order placed by you before the order is out for delivery. For any permitted cancellations, we will refund payments, if any, made by you under the relevant order within approximately 72 hours. For pick-up mode the order can be cancelled anytime before it is picked up from the store. In case of bookings from multiple stores on the site/app, a single cancellation of any product(s) from any store/seller will automatically cancel the entire placed order (in case of order by delivery only). For pick-up orders any order from any of the multiple stores may be cancelled and the remaining order remains intact.

The seller can cancel your order in rare circumstances. The chief reasons being the unavailability of item(s) or the item(s) is/are damaged or the store is closed due to unforeseen circumstances. If you are unable to pick-up your order after 4 hours of defined pick-up time then the seller may cancel the order. An order placed may be cancelled by the concerned store at its discretion.

Orders may be cancelled by Tangyleaf Online Services LLP in any of the following cases: (a) if it is suspected that a customer has undertaken a fraudulent transaction, or (b) if it is suspected that a customer has undertaken a transaction which does not conform to or violates the Terms & Conditions of the User Agreement, or (c) in case for any reason outside the control of the LLP including cases for delivery related difficulties. For such cancellations, the LLP will refund the payment, if any, made by you under the relevant order within 72 hours.

Further, while precautions are taken to ensure accuracy of product specifications, the details of a product as reflected on the site brownbag.in/mobile app may be due to incorrect product information provided to the LLP by third party seller and in such an event you shall be notified as soon as such error comes to the notice of the LLP. In such event, the LLP reserves the right to cancel your order and grant credit for the value of the returned product.

We maintain a list of all fraudulent transactions and non-complying users, and reserve the right to deny access to such users at any time or cancel any orders placed by them in future.
