Bhetki also known as Barramundi is great due to its sheer taste. It has a very light and assertive taste whithout being overpowering. It’s also a versatile fish and you can do so much with it – fish fry, curry, pan sear or simply steam. If you have the time, you can also mince bhetki and use it as dimsum filling. It has only a few large bones which are easily removed and can be cut into medium to thick steaks depending on its size. It is a lean source of high quality protein and rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
