It is fresh and hot tomato soup recipe, straight from my kitchen, perfect for winters – have it with bread sticks or buns or chips.

Health Benefits Of Tomato Soup

Each bowl of tomato soup includes several nutrients that are highly beneficial for health. Tomato Soup contains vitamin E, A, C, K, important minerals & antioxidants that keeps body healthy and fit.

Step 1

Cut the tomatoes into 4 pieces each and beetroot into thin slices.

Step 2

Now, boil the tomatoes and beet root along with peppercorns, salt and water in a Pressure Cooker.

Step 3

Keep aside to cool at least for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Now, blend and sieve the above mix. After sieving, boil again and add sugar / jaggery.

Step 5

Stir well and add butter. Serve hot with Bread buns.

Hint : One can garnish with chopped coriander or fresh herb of choice. I prefer Desi tomatoes as they are bit sourer than Hybrid tomatoes. One can use tomatoes of their own choice depending on their taste buds.

Water: 8 cups (2 Glass)
Salt (according to taste)
7 -8 Peppercorns (Sabut Kali Mirch)
Butter (according to taste)
