How to make Palak Mushroom Soup

Palak Mushroom Soup is a very hearty, chunky soup filled with bits of browned mushroom and silky baby spinach.


This power packed soup is a one pot meal to give you an instant energy.

Step 1

Divide mushrooms in two parts, chop 1 part finely and other into thin slices. Chop onion, garlic and ginger in slices.

Step 2

Now heat 1 spoon butter in a pan and add bayleaf, cloves, cinnamom, cardamom, sliced mushrooms, palak, onion, ginger and garlic and cook till raw smell goes.

Step 3

Now take it in a bowl and let it cool and make a fine pasteby adding egg yolk.

Step 4

Then add rest of butter with finely chopped mushrooms and saute them till tender. Now add milk and boil it in lower flame.

Step 5

Then add veg stock to it and add paste and boil it for 5-6 minutes. Add salt with pepper and serve it hot

Hint : Serve it hot for delicious taste.

100 grams palak

1 black cardamom
2-3 cloves
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
3 cups vegetable stock
1 egg yolk
1/4 inch ginger
4-5 cloves garlic
Salt & pepper to taste
